Professor Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman and Mrs. Sushama S. Chordiya, Vice President of Suryadatta Education Foundation have been conferred with 'Savitri-Jyoti' Award by Rashtriya Bandhuta Sahitya Parishad, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College.

Under platinum category by AICTE–CII Survey
Pune: City based Suryadatta Group’s two institutes, which is Suryadatta Institute of Management & Mass Communication (SIMMC) & Suryadatta Institute of Business Management & Technology figures amongst the Top Management Institutions in India and also ranked under Platinum Category by AICTE–CII Survey of Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020. SIMMC won the coveted ranking for 6 consecutive years, while SIBMT applied first time for ranking and it is ranked under platinum category. Along with Suryadatta, College of Engineering Pune, Department of Management and Marathawada Mitra Mandal College of Pharmacy and other 53 institutes from Maharashtra ranked under this category.
Recently, the results of the ninteenth edition of AICTE-CII Survey of Top Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2020 were announced at the CII Education Summit held virtually. Initiated in 2012 by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the IndPact Survey is an objective source of information with the core being the industry – academia collaboration that exists. The first survey in 2012 focused only on engineering institutes approved by AICTE. Year 2013 witnessed the expansion of scope to include four major streams of study, viz engineering, management, pharmacy and architecture/planning.

About AICTE-CII Servy:
The AICTE - CII Survey on industry linkages of technical institutes is a one-of-its-kind survey which is implemented by industry association CII in close coordination with AICTE. It is a unique model of a public-private partnership which has been working very well for the past eight years. The insights which this survey brings are not available in any other survey or ranking exercise in this country. The evaluation parameters include Governance 10%, Curriculum 20%, Faculty 20%, Infrastructure 10%, Services / Projects & Skill Development 20%, Placements 20%.
This survey, which has been developed by CII in close consultation and coordination with AICTE, serves a unique purpose of mapping the industry linkages of institutes. From that perspective, its objective is different from that of the government ranking which is meant to inform parents about the performance of institutes. The purpose of this survey is to inform industry about best institutes to scout talent from. The highest category of award is the Platinum category. डॉ. के. सिवन यांना 'सूर्यभूषण आंतराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार' प्रदान
पुणे : भारतीय अवकाश संशोधन संस्थेचे (इस्रो) अध्यक्ष डॉ. के. सिवन यांना सुर्यदत्ता ग्रुप ऑफ इन्स्टिट्यूटच्या वतीने 'सूर्यभूषण आंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार' प्रदान करण्यात आला. संस्थापक अध्यक्ष प्रा. डॉ. संजय चोरडिया यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील 'सूर्यदत्ता'च्या शिष्ट मंडळाने नुकतीच 'इस्रो'च्या बेंगळुरू येथील मुख्यालयाला भेट दिली. त्यावेळी प्रा. डॉ. संजय चोरडिया यांच्या हस्ते डॉ. के. सिवन यांना या पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले. 'सूर्यदत्ता'चे कार्यकारी विकास अधिकारी सिद्धांत चोरडिया आणि संचालक प्रा. सुनील धाडीवाल उपस्थित होते. डॉ. के. सिवन यांनी 'इस्रो'मधील अनेक आठवणी सांगितल्या. त्या ऐकताना 'सूर्यदत्ता'चे शिष्ट मंडळ भारावून गेले.
प्रा. डॉ. संजय चोरडिया म्हणाले, "जागतिक प्रतिष्ठेचे अंतराळ संशोधन केंद्र असलेल्या 'इस्रो'ला भेट देण्याची संधी मिळाल्याचा मोठा आनंद आहे. आम्हा सर्व सूर्यदत्ता परिवारासाठी ही अभिमानास्पद अशी गोष्ट आहे. डॉ. के. सिवन यांची भेट घेऊन त्यांना सन्मानित केल्याने 'सूर्यदत्ता'ही सन्मान झाला आहे. या भेटीदरम्यान डॉ. के. सिवन यांचे मौल्यवान मार्गदर्शन प्रेरणादायी आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांचा सर्वांगीण विकास व दर्जेदार शिक्षण देण्याची सूर्यदत्ताची परंपरा आहे. शालेय मुलांसाठी विज्ञान विषयात रस निर्माण करण्याच्या दृष्टीने आम्ही अनेक उपक्रम राबवत असतो." विद्यार्थ्यांमधील नाविन्यपूर्ण विचार व संशोधन क्षमतेला प्रोत्साहन दिले जाते. समाजात घडणाऱ्या वैज्ञानिक घडामोडी जागृत करण्यासाठी निरनिराळे उपक्रम राबविण्यात येतात. संस्थेतील विद्यार्थ्यांसोबतच महाराष्ट्रातील इतर शाळांतील विद्यार्थी यामध्ये सहभागी होतात. सूर्यदत्ता संस्थेच्या बावधन कॅम्पसमध्ये राज्यस्तरीय विज्ञान प्रकल्प, वैज्ञानिक प्रदर्शने आदी स्पर्धा आयोजिल्या जातात,असेही डॉ. चोरडिया यांनी नमूद केले.

भेटीदरम्यान सूर्यदत्ता प्रतिनिधींना इस्रो हेरिटेज सेंटर अँड म्युझियम दाखविण्यात आले. छोट्याशा शेडपासून इस्रोची सुरुवात आणि नंतरच्या काळात इतिहास घडवणाऱ्या घडामोडी समजून घेतल्या. डॉ. विक्रम साराभाई, प्रा. सतीश धवन, डॉ. कृष्णास्वामी कस्तुरीरंगन, डॉ. ए. किरण कुमार आदींनी इस्रोला आंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याती मिळवून दिली. येथील संग्रहालयात इस्रोच्या दिग्गज नेत्यांची माहितीही देण्यात आली. तसेच येथील कामकाजाची माहिती सांगितली यामध्ये प्रसारण, संप्रेषण, हवामान अंदाज, आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन साधने, भौगोलिक माहिती प्रणाली, व्यंगचित्र, नेव्हिगेशन, टेलिमेडिसीन, विशिष्ट उपग्रह उत्पादने आणि साधने विकसित करण्याचे संग्रहालय देखील दाखविण्यात आली. ही भेट सर्वार्थाने संस्मरणीय झाल्याचे डॉ. चोरडिया म्हणाले.

Worldwide Achievers Awards 2015
Pune-City based Suryadatta Group of Institutes has bagged coveted Worldwide Achievers Awards in four categories at Asia Education Summit 2015 held recently at New Delhi. The awards were received by Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman Suryadatta Group of Institutes, at the hands of ace shooter Abhinav Bindra & Aarti Virendra Sehwag. The Suryadatta National School & Surya Kids & Pune Institute of Applied Technology adjudged the “Best Pre –School & Best Interior Design Institute at State level. While the Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology were conferred with the "Best Fashion Design Institute of the year for Pune region. The group also won the "Best Mass Communication & Event Management Award” for its Management institute.

It is indeed an achievement to be honored in such forums arranged by Chamber of Commerce of some different nation.
Bhaskar Award 2011
The prestigious Bhaskar Award 2011 has been conferred upon Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman Suryadatta Group of Institutes for excellence in the field of growth of education by Maharashtra Journalist Foundation. The award was presented to Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya in a ceremony held in Goa on May 28 by Shri Digambar Kamat, Chief Minister of Goa who was the chief guest for the programme. Other prominent recipients of the award include stalwarts like Pandit Hrudaynath Mangeshkar, Sindhutai Sapkal, Radha Mangeshkar etc..
On receiving the award, an elated Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya expressed the desire to work even harder in the field of education.

He received the Award from the Consulate General of Thailand and the Chairman, Delta Corporation during the International Achievers Summit, Singapore, on November 31,2009 held by the Economic Development Forum. This Award was give in recognition of Dr. Chordiya’s distinguished services to the field of Quality Professional Education.
Swami Vivekananda National Award
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, was presented the Swami Vivekanada National Award 2007, by Dr. Karan Singh, for his valuable contribution to socially relevant programmes such as Environment awareness, AIDS awareness, Polio Eradication, Bone Density Measurement for Women, Drinking Water schemes and Computer Literacy for Orphans and Senior Citizens in rural and urban areas.
AIMA Fellowship
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President & Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes, has been conferred fellowship by Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, President, All India Management Association (AIMA) in the presence of Honorable Shri. Arjun Singh, the then Union Minister of HRD, Govt. of India for his valuable contribution to the Management Fields. Interestingly, Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya is the youngest member of AIMA to receive the fellowship.

Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya was felicitated by Hon’ble Shri P. C. Alexander, the then Governor of Maharashtra, for his yeoman services for his socially important services towards the cause of the visually impaired on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony, at the Desai Eye Hospital, for Pune Blind Mens Association.
